How it began
Originally from Liverpool and South Wales, we met and fell in love in Oxford, before moving to East Riding 20 years ago, and have never wanted to move away. The area is surrounded by breath-taking walks, food of all varieties, and the people are so friendly.

We bought the lodge for our family and friends to enjoy the place that we call home. The quality of Allerthorpe lodges and the interior made us want to buy this property, and now we want to share this fantastic space with families across the country. From Liverpool to Leeds and beyond, all are welcome to stay at Reynards Retreat Lodge.

The lodge is located an equal distance from the beautiful city of York and the breath-taking North Yorkshire coast, with the fabulous Wolds in between. So whether walker, cyclist or driver you won’t waste a day, unless you choose to spend it in our relaxing hot tub with a glass of champagne!
All the essentials and more
Our lodge has everything you need to enjoy your stay. As well as the aforementioned hot tub (so good it needs saying twice!) we have plenty of space for up to 4 guests. We also have 2 bathrooms, space for a car outside, and a washing machine for those muddy adventures!
Pet-friendly venue
There's no need to leave man's best friend at home. We are a pet-friendly venue, so feel free to bring the family dog along for the adventure.
